Prophecies Fulfilled 〰️
Reflections
There are over 360 prophecies about the Messiah, all of which Jesus fulfilled. Do you realize how incredible that is? According to Dr. Peter Stoner, the probability of one man fulfilling just 48 of those prophecies is 1 in 10 to the 157th power—an astronomical number that leaves no room for doubt that Jesus is the Messiah. Even seemingly small details, like the sour wine mentioned in Psalm 69:21 and His extreme thirst in Psalm 22:15, were precisely fulfilled when Jesus said, “I thirst.”
So when Jesus declared, “It is finished,” He wasn’t just making a closing statement. Not only is that a fulfillment in itself but also, He was proclaiming that every prophecy concerning Him up to that moment had been fulfilled. What an incredible God we serve! If God was so intentional about fulfilling His word concerning Jesus, we can be confident that His plans for our lives will also come to pass. Not a single detail of our existence escapes His attention—not even the number of hairs on our heads. Your presence here is no accident. Have you discovered what God has spoken about you? Are you aware of His promises for your life?
